Sandra Faye "Sandi" Patty (born July 12, 1956) is an American Christian music singer, known for her broad soprano song range[1] and expressive flexibility.[two]

Early life [edit]
Patty was born in Oklahoma Urban center, Oklahoma, into a family of musicians; her begetter was a minister of music, and her mother served as the church building pianist. She first performed at the age of 2 when she sang "Jesus Loves Me" for her church, Phoenix First Church of God. First growing upwardly in Phoenix, and then San Diego, she and her brothers joined their parents in a performing group known as "The Ron Patty Family", and sang at churches nationwide during summertime holidays. After graduating from Crawford High School in San Diego, she attended San Diego Country University and Anderson Academy in Anderson, Indiana, where she studied vox with soprano Greta Dominic, merely graduated with an accent in conducting. In 2009, Patty received two GMA Dove Accolade nominations: Female Vocalist of the Year, and Inspirational Album of the Year (Songs for the Journey).
Simply Sandi, an acoustic anthology, is the first solo project to exist released on her ain record label, Stylos Records (a label with iii artists—Sandi, Ben Utecht, and Heather Payne). In 2009, Patty and her family unit relocated from Anderson, Indiana, to Oklahoma Metropolis, Oklahoma. She is married to Don Peslis. As a blended family, they have eight children and eight grandchildren.[17]
